Pierre Paquette

Mr. Pierre Paquette is the M.P. for Joliette, Québec and he is a member of the Bloc Québécois Caucus.  This is his fourth term in Ottawa and he is seen as one of the BQ’s main lieutenants, speaking often in Question Period.

He is a member of two Parliamentary Committees; Procedure and House Affairs and also the “Ethics” committee.

Mr. Paquette trained in economics and has a long history in the Bloc Québécois.

Let us pray for him that he will desire to work together with all other Parliamentarians.  May the Lord give him the ability to be a blessing to the whole nation as well as his own province.  Pray for good health and strength so he can represent his riding well.

Pascal-Pierre Paillé

Pascal-Pierre Paillé is the M.P. representing Louis-Hébert in the city of Québec and he sits as a member of the Bloc Québécois caucus.  This is his first term in Ottawa.

Mr. Paillé sits on two committees; Public Accounts and National Defence.

Mr. Pascal-Pierre Paillé, age 31 is trained in Martial Arts and has a strong background in physical education having received a degree in it at the University of Laval.

Let us pray for Mr. Paillé that at his young age he would be mentored well by wise politicians and grow to be a strong influence for good in our nation.  May the Lord bless him with good colleagues from every party as he works on Parliament Hill.

Daniel Paillé

Mr. Daniel Paillé won the riding of Hochelaga in Montreal in a by-election in November 2009.  He is a member of the Bloc Québecois caucus and this is his first term in Ottawa.

Mr. Daniel Paillé has a long background in buisness and commerce in Québec

Mr. Paillé sits on the Finance Committee, a fitting place given his skills and experience.

Let us pray for Mr. Paillé as he learns the way that things work in Parliament.  May he have wisdom and grace to work for the good of the whole nation as well as his home province.

Donald H. Oliver

The Honourable Donald H. Oliver was appointed to the Senate in 1990 by P.M. Brian Mulroney and he sits as a member of the Conservative Caucus.  Mr. Oliver represents the Nova Scotian region of South Shore.

Mr. Oliver was raised in a strong Baptist home and excelled in his educational endeavours.  With a background in buisness and law he has now served for over 19 years in the Upper Chamber.  He sits on two Committees; Banking, Trade and Commerce and also Rules, Procedures and Rights of Parliament, which he chairs.

Mr. Oliver is married to Linda and they have a daughter Carolynn.  He is a greater lover of french cuisine and has authored a book on the subject.

Let us pray for Mr. Donald Oliver that he be blessed with good health and strength to do his significant roles on Parliament Hill.  May he be used to bring an influence of righteousness to all he touches.

Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie

Mr. Kelvin Kenneth Ogilvie was appointed to the Senate in August of 2009 and sits as a member of the Conservative Caucus representing Annapolis Valley-Hants in Nova Scotia.

Mr. Oglivie comes to the Senate after a long academic career which culiminated as the President of Acadia University in Wolfville.  With many accomplishments in chemistry and DNA research, he is well suited to his new role as an expert advisor at the highest levels of government.

Mr. Olgivie sits on the Senate Committee for Social Affairs, Science and Technology and the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Scrutiny of Regulations.

Let us pray for Kelvin Kenneth Olgivie that he may have good health to work for many years in the Upper Chamber.  Pray for him as he learns the routines and procedures of the Senate that he may find a way to be quickly effective.  May he meet good friends in his new work on Parliament Hill.

Massimo Pacetti

Mr. Massimo Pacetti is the M.P. for Saint-Léonard—Saint-Michel in east-central Montreal.  He sits as a member of the Liberal Caucus and this is his fourth term in Ottawa.

Mr. Pacetti is native born to his constituency as an urban Montrealer.  He was trained as a Certified Accountant and has been very active in his community over the years.

Mr. Pacetti currently sits on the Committee for Finance.

Massimo is married to Danielle and they have two children.

Let us pray for Mr. Pacetti that he will use his wisdom and knowledge in the area of finances to benefit the committee he works with and ultimately our nation of Canada.  May the Lord grant his grace to be a blessing to his wife and children in the midst of a busy life in politics.

Christian Ouellet

Mr. Christian Ouellet is the M.P. for Brome—Missisquoi, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.  He is a member of the Bloc Québécois Caucus and this is his second term in Ottawa.

Mr. Ouellet sits on the Committee for the Environment and Sustainable Development.  Now that we are past the Copenhagen summit there is much that this committee will be discussing.

Let us pray for Mr. Ouellet that he will make valuable contributions to this important committee and that partisan politics will be put aside to seek the good of the whole country including Quebec.  Pray also that he will have good health and strength to do his job representing the people of Brome-Missisquoi.
