Pascal-Pierre Paillé

The Honourable Pascal-Pierre Paillé is the M.P. representing Louis-Hébert in the city of Québec and he sits as a member of the Bloc Québécois caucus.  This is his first term in Ottawa.

Mr. Paillé sits on the committee of  National Defence.

Mr. Pascal-Pierre Paillé, age 32 is trained in Martial Arts and has a strong background in physical education having received a degree in it at the University of Laval. Mr Paillé has the youth at heart. He is the volunteer director of OD Events which is a project to raise awareness on suicide prevention among youth in Quebec City.

Let us pray for Mr. Paillé that at his young age he would be mentored well by wise politicians and grow to be a strong influence for good in our nation.  May the Lord bless him with good colleagues from every party as he works on Parliament Hill. Daniel Paillé

The Honourable Daniel Paillé won the riding of Hochelaga in Montreal in a by-election in November 2009.  He is a member of the Bloc Québecois caucus and this is his first term in Ottawa.

Mr. Daniel Paillé has a long background in business and commerce in Québec. For several years he was a Teaching-Assistant at HEC Montreal (business school). Mr Paillé was also previously involve in provincial politics at the National Assembly of Quebec. He was the minister of Industry, Commerce and Sciences and Technologies between 1994 and 1996.

Mr. Paillé sits on the Finance Committee, a fitting place given his skills and experience.

Let us pray that Mr. Paillé  would have wisdom and grace to work for the good of the whole nation as well as his home province.


Massimo Pacetti

Mr. Massimo Pacetti is the M.P. for Saint-Léonard—Saint-Michel in east-central Montreal.  He sits as a member of the Liberal Caucus and this is his fourth term in Ottawa.

Mr. Pacetti is native-born to his constituency as an urban Montrealer.  He was trained as a Certified Accountant and has been very active in his community over the years.

The Honourable Massimo Pacetti is currently the Vice-Chair on the Finance Committee and the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure of the Standing Committee on Finance.

Massimo is married to Danielle and they have two children.

Let us pray for Mr. Pacetti that he will use his wisdom and knowledge in the area of finances to benefit the committee he works with and ultimately our nation of Canada.  May the Lord grant his grace to be a blessing to his wife and children in the midst of a busy life in politics.

Christian Ouellet

The Honourable Christian Ouellet is the M.P. for Brome—Missisquoi, in the Eastern Townships of Quebec.  He is a member of the Bloc Québécois Caucus and this is his second term in Ottawa.

Mr. Ouellet sits on the Committee for the Environment and Sustainable Development. Now that we are past the Cancun climate change summit there is much that this committee will be discussing.

Let us pray for Mr. Ouellet that he will make valuable contributions to this important committee and that partisan politics will be put aside to seek the good of the whole country including Quebec.  Pray also that he will have good health and strength to do his job representing the people of Brome-Missisquoi.


Tilly O’Neill-Gordon

The Honourable Tilly O’Neill-Gordon is the M.P. for Miramichi in New Brunswick.  She is a member of the Conservative Caucus and this is her first term in Ottawa.

Born in the village of Escuminac, she is a life long resident of Miramichi, having been a teacher in the region throughout her career.

Ms. O’Neill-Gordon sits on both the Fisheries and Oceans Committee and also the Official Languages Committee. She is also an associate member of several committees such as  Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, Finance and Health.   

Let us pray for Tilly as she continues to adapt to the political environment in Ottawa that she would remain true to her ideals and be a strong representative for the Miramichi region.  May she be blessed with great wisdom and great friends to be a support to her and her family.

Donald H. Oliver

The Honourable Donald H. Oliver was appointed to the Senate in 1990 by P.M. Brian Mulroney and he sits as a member of the Conservative Caucus.  Mr. Oliver represents the Nova Scotian region of South Shore.

Mr. Oliver was raised in a strong Baptist home and excelled in his educational endeavours.  With a background in business and law he has now served for over 19 years in the Upper Chamber.  He sits on two Committees; Banking, Trade and Commerce and also Rules, Procedures and Rights of Parliament, which he chairs.

Mr. Oliver is married to Linda and they have a daughter Carolynn.  He is a greater lover of french cuisine and has authored a book on the subject.

Let us pray for Mr. Donald Oliver that he be blessed with good health and strength to do his significant roles on Parliament Hill.  May he be used to bring an influence of righteousness to all he touches.

Robert Oliphant

The Honourable Robert Oliphant is the M.P. for Don Valley West in Toronto.  He is a member of the Liberal Caucus and this is his first term in Ottawa.

Robert Oliphant has a varied background in community advocacy working in many different parts of Canada and at all levels from helping street people to advocacy in the Premier’s office in Ontario.

He was recently the lead minister at Eglington St. George’s United Church in Toronto.

Mr. Oliphant is the Vice-Chair of the Veteran Affairs Committee and also sits on the Public Safety and National Security Committee.

Let us pray for Mr. Oliphant that he would be bold to bring his theological and community strengths to his work on Parliament Hill.  Pray that he will forge inter-party friendships and be a blessing to many others.  May the Lord grant him wisdom and health for the important work he has been given.
