Raynell Andreychuck

The Honourable Raynell Andreychuck has been a Senator since 1993 and represents the province of Saskatchewan.  She is a member of the Conservative caucus and has a background in Law and Justice.  Raynell has a special interest in volunteerism and International Human Rights.

In the Senate she chairs the Human Rights Committee and is a member of the Foreign Affairs and International Trade, and the Rules, Procedures and Rights committees.

Let us pray that, with the significant role that she has in the area of Human Rights, she will be an agent for change in our current HRC environment which desperately needs some reforms.  Let’s pray for her health and her extended family as she carries huge responsibilities in Ottawa and back home in Saskatoon.


Scott Andrews

The Honourable Scott Andrews  is a member of the Liberal Caucus representing the riding of Avalon in Newfoundland/Labrador.  His riding is the larger peninsula in which you will find the city of St. John’s.   This is his first term elected into office.  He serves on the Fisheries and Oceans Committee.

Scott is married to Susan Mosher.

Mr. Andrews is one of the younger Members of Parliament and seeing as this is his first term he is likely making new adjustments in his new life here in Ottawa.  He has a long way to travel back to his constituency as well on weekends.   Let’s pray for him that he would settle into Parliamentary life and politics smoothly and also that he would be kept safe with all of the flying and travelling back and forth.    Pray that he would work well on his committee and that he would have valuable insight and make good contributions.   Let us thank God for this young man with fresh ideas and energy and  pray that he would be fueled by the wisdom of God.

Guy Andre

The Honourable Guy Andre is the member for Berthier-Maskinonge in the province of Quebec.  This riding is an area east of the city of Montreal along the north shore of the St. Lawrence River.  He is a member of the Bloc Québécois and has been elected to his third term.  He current serves on the Veteran Affairs committee.  He is very active in his home riding and has served on various local organizations and agencies that help the poor and disadvantaged.

Let’s pray that he would make a good contribution as he participates in the committee of Veteran Affairs as they make decisions that affect our troops when they return home to Canada.  Pray that he would represent his constituents well in Ottawa and continue to be a good advocate for those who need  assistance.  We are thankful that he has a heart for those with special needs and let’s pray that his efforts will make a real difference.

David Anderson

The Honourable David Anderson is the MP for Cypress Hills—Grasslands, Saskatchewan.  He is a member of the Conservative Party and this will be his fourth term in Parliament.

He is currently a member of the Natural Resources committee.  He is also the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resources and for the Canadian Wheat Board.

He has been married to his wife Sheila since 1982, and has two children; Amy and Andrew.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Masters of Divinity.

Let us pray for his family, and that God would bless them with unity and strength.

Rona Ambrose

The Honourable Rona Ambrose is the MP for Edmonton – Spruce Grove, Alberta.  A member of the Conservative party, this is her third term in parliament.

She currently serves as the Minister of Public Works and Government Service and also the Minister for the Status of Women.  She has held a number of other Cabinet posts over the last few years and is trusted as a hard-working M.P.

She is married to husband Bruce Ambrose and lives in Edmonton.  She is fluent in Portuguese & French, and has a long history of volunteering with the Edmonton Women’s Shelter.

Let’s pray that God would continue to use her as a leader and advocate  for woman’s rights in parliament.  Let’s also pray that God would give her wisdom as she oversees large responsibilities in our nation.  Also keep in prayer her husband and pray that God would continue to strengthen and bless their marriage.

Dean Allison

The Honourable Dean Allison is the MP for Niagara West – Glanbrook, Ontario.  He is a Conservative member and this is his third term in Parliament.  Mr. Allison has a background in business and continues to take an interest in start-ups and new ventures.  He has long been active in his community with various charities and social efforts.

He is currently the Chair of the Foreign Affairs and International Development Committee and thus a chair of a couple of its subcommittees as well.  He also chairs the important Liaison Committee.  These roles requires the skill of getting a multi-party group to work together for the good of our country and its relations with the rest of the world.

Please pray that he would have wisdom in his important committee positions and that God would bless his personal life.   Let’s pray that he would continue to stand for truth, while at the same time being the voice of his riding.  And pray that, in the face of adversity, he would be strengthened to stand firm.

Mike Allen

The Honourable Mike Allen is the MP for the  Tobique—Mactaquac riding in New Brunswick.  He is a Conservative member, and is in his second term in Parliament.

He currently serves as a member of the Fisheries and Oceans committee and the Natural Resources committee.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.  Before entering politics he worked as a consultant with various New Brunswick companies.

He currently lives in New Brunswick with his wife Jennifer.

In praying for Mike Allen, let’s pray that his relationship to his wife would be blessed and that his travel to and from New Brunswick would be kept safe.  Also, let’s pray that he would continue to represent not only his own riding, but also Atlantic Canada and that he would be a voice for them in Ottawa.
