Fin Donnelly

August 26, 2011

Fin Donnelly was elected in a by-election in 2009  to represent New Westminister-Coquitlam. He is a member of the NDP Caucus. This is his second term.

Previous to running for federal office he had been a city councilor and taken a special interest in the Fraser River region and salmon fisheries in particular.

Mr. Donnelly is the Vice-chair of the Fisheries and Oceans Committee an area that he has a special passion for with his background in being the director of the Rivershed Society of B.C. for 13 years.

Fin is a graduate of the University of Victoria in Philosophy.  He is married to Lynda.

Let’s pray for Mr. Donnelly that he will continue to make an impact for good on our nation and for his constituents back in the Fraser Valley.  May the Lord bring him good friendships across party lines.

You can learn more about Fin Donnelly on his official website.
