Mark Strahl

Mr. Strahl is a member newly elected member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Chilliwack—Fraser Canyon, British Columbia. Born and raised in Chilliwack, Mark and his wife Lisa have  one son.

Prior to entering politics, he worked as an executive assistant and political assistant. He sits on both the National Defence and Health committees in Ottawa. Pray for wise and Godly counselors to help him in reaching his full potential.

Brian Storseth

Mr. Storseth is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Westlock-St.Paul, Alberta since 2006. Brian Storseth was born and raised in Barrhead, Alberta. He studied Political Science at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta. While attending university, Brian worked for the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta as well as a former Deputy Premier. Prior to entering politics, he was a business man and insurance agent.

Mr. Storseth sits on the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food and the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs. He also is an associate member of various other committees. Pray that there would be a culture of co-operation and honour within all parties.

Peter Stoffer

Mr. Stoffer is a member of the NDP party serving the constituency of  Sackville-Eastern Shore, Nova Scotia since 1997.  Mr. Stoffer was born in Heerlen, Limburg, Netherlands and currently resides in Windsor with his family.

Mr. Stoffer is the Chair of the Veterans Affairs Committee and also is an associate member of various other Government committees. Pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Terry Stratton

Senator Stratton is representative of the Conservative Party, for the area of  Red River, Manitoba.  Senator Stratton was born in Winnipeg and was educated at the University of Manitoba (Architecture), 1957-1960.  He has three children and six grandchildren.  He started out in architecture and worked for many years in that field. He has taught at the Red River Community College and has served on the boards of several companies and organizations, including the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba Hydro, and the United Way of Winnipeg. He is currently a National Council Member of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

He was appointed to the Senate in March 1993, by the former Conservative leader Prime Minister Brian Mulroney. Senator Stratton is the Chiar of the Conflict of Interest for Senators, he also is a member of the Internal Economy Committee, the Budgets and Administration committee, as well as a member of the  Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament  Committee Please pray that he would be a man of integrity and courage, to stand up for what is right.

Caorlyn Stewart Olson

Senator Stewart-Olsen in a representative of the Conservative Party, for the area of New Brunswick.  Ms. Stewart Olsen spent over a decade as an  emergency staff nurse at hospitals throughout New Brunswick, Ontario and Quebec.  In 1986, Ms. Stewart Olsen was named Head Nurse for the Ambulatory Care  Department at Ottawa’s Grace Hospital and later Nursing Manager for the  Emergency, Recovery Room, Ambulatory Care, and CSR departments at Carleton Place  Hospital.

After a twenty-year career in nursing, Ms. Stewart Olsen turned her  attention to political life where she served as communications assistant and  Press Secretary to the Leader of the Opposition. Most recently, she served as  Press Secretary and Director of Strategic Communication in the Office of the  Prime Minister. Ms. Stewart Olsen is married to Terry Olsen.

She is currently a member of the Banking, Trade and Commerce Committee as well as the  Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration  Committee. Please pray that she would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Kennedy Stewart

Mr. Stewart, is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Burnaby Douglas, British Columbia since 2011, he previously served the area of  Vancouver Centre. Mr. Stewart was born in Halifax and received a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Acadia University. He then later pursued a  Master’s Degree in Political Science from Simon Fraser University  and a PhD in Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science.  He and his wife Jeanette, currently reside in British Columbia.

Mr. Stewart  has written many published articles, as well as being a regular guest columnist for the Vancouver Sun. He is a member of the  Industry, Science & Technology committee, the Justice & Human Rights COmmittee, as well as a member of the Natural Resources Committee.

Pray that there would be a culture of co-operation and honour within all parties.

Lise St-Denis

Ms. St.-Denis is a newly elected member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of  Saint-Maurice, Champlain, Quebec.

She was born in Montreal, and prior to entering politics, was an Educator and Teacher. She is a member of the Environment and Sustainable Development Committee, as well as an associate member of three other parliamentary Committees.
