Jay Aspin

Mr. Aspin is the newly elected member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Nipissing-Timskaming,Ontario. He is a lifelong resident of North Bay where he has been involved in municipal and school board politics for 34 years having served six terms on the Council of the City of North Bay and six terms with two School Boards – the Nipissing Board of Education and the Near North District School Board. he and his wife Joanne have two children, David and Katie and one grandson, Dean.

He holds a bachelor of Mathematics and Economics degree from the University of Waterloo, a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, a Certified International Trade Professional designation (CITP) and is a certified Economic Developer of Canada (EcD).Prior to entering politics, he has been engaged in the private sector providing business and economic development advisory services to companies expanding their international markets to the United States, Europe and South America.

Please pray that he would serve with integrity and courage to stand up for what is right.


Niki Ashton

Niki Ashton is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Churchill,Manitoba. Prior to entering politics, she served as a former instructor with University College of the North, she has an MA in  International Affairs (Carleton University) and a BA in Global Political Economy
(University of Manitoba). She is fluent in four languages, including Greek, her mother-tongue, and has studied four others.

She serves as a member on the Special Committee on Violence Against Indigenous Women. In addition, she also serves on a number of other governmental committees. Please pray that she known for her humility and that she would receive wise and Godly counsel from others around  her, to help her in reaching her full potential.


Keith Ashfield

Minister Ashfield  is a member of the Conservative Caucus and serves as Minister for the Atlantic Gateway & Minster of Fisheries and Oceans. He represents the riding of Fredericton, New Brunswick. He studied Business Administration at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton. Keith and his wife, Judy, currently reside in Lincoln, NB. They have two grown children, Tara and Seth.

Before entering provincial politics, Keith was active in school trustee associations at the local, provincial and national levels. He has held senior positions in local companies, and has owned and operated his own businesses. Pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good  health and endurance




Scott Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong is a member of the Conservative party, since the 2009 by-election to represent Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley in Nova Scotia. He holds a Master of Social Science Education from Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Prior to entering politics he worked in the education field, where  he served as an elementary school principal for over ten years. He and his wife have three adult children.

He serves as a member on the Committees for Justice & Human rights, as well as the Procedures and House Affairs Committee. In addition, he also serves as a member on a number of other governmental committees. Please pray that he continues to develop in his role as a member of parliament and that he be encouraged by those around him, in reaching his full potential.




Charlie Angus

Mr. Angus  is a member of the New Democratic Party Caucus and is in his third term, being first elected in 2004.  He represents the riding of Timmins-James Bay in Northern Ontario.  He was born in Timmins to parents who were both gold miners, prior to entering politics, he served  as a trustee for the Northeast District Catholic School Board..  He and his wife Brit have three grown daughters.  He is a published author as well as a musician.

He currently serves as a member on the Access to Information, Privacy & Ethics committee. Please pray that there would be a culture of co-operation and honour within all parties.



Scott Andrews

Scott Andrews is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of Avalon, Newfoundland, Labrador since 2008. He was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Labrador. He and his wife Susan, along with their son Malcolm, are residents of Kelligrews in Conception Bay South.

He is Vice-Chair to Privacy & Access to Information committee. He is also an associate member of the Liaison Committee, Natural Resources Committee & the Transport, Infrastructure & Communities Committee.

Please pray that he be surrounded with wise and Godly counselors that will help him in reaching his full potential.


David Anderson

Mr. Anderson is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Cypress-Grasslands, Saskatchewan since 2000. He studied at the University of Regina where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He then went on to complete a Masters of Divinity at the Canadian Theological Seminary. He has lived and farmed out of Frontier, Saskatchewan for most of his life, he and his wife Sheila have two adult children, Amy and Andrew and a daughter-in-law Charis.

He is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Natural Resource and to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food for the Canadian Wheat Board.  He also serves as a member and associate member on a number of parliamentary committees.

Please pray that he would be known for his humility which invites God’s great grace and protects from pride.
