Irwin Cotler

Mr. Cotler is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of Mount Royal, Quebec since 1999.  Mr. Cotler is currently on leave as a Professor of Law at McGill University, where he is Director of its Human Rights Programme, and Chair of InterAmicus, the McGill-based International Human Rights Advocacy Centre. He has been a Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, a Woodrow Wilson Fellow at Yale Law School, and is the recipient of nine honorary Doctorates, including from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Justice and Human Rights committee. He is also a member of the Foreign Affairs and International Development committee. Please pray that he be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Joe Comartin

Mr. Comartin is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Windsor-Tecumseh since 2000. He was born in Stoney Point, Ontario and prior to entering politics worked as a lawyer and Managing director. He and his Maureen, have three children and four grand-children.

Raymond Cote

Mr. Cote is a newly elected member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Beauport-Limoilou. He was born in Quebec and  works at Services Québec and has been a resident of Limoilou for 20 years. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the Université Laval in 1993 in economics and international relations.

He currently serves as a member of the Finance committee.Please pray that he receive wise and Godly counselors, to help him in reaching his full potential.

Tony Clement

The Honourable Tony Clement, is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Parry-Sound Muskoka, since 2006. Prior to his political career, he worked as a lawyer, a business board member and a small business owner and entrepreneur. He and his wife Lynne, have three children.

Mr. Clement is the Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario.  He is also the President of the Treasury Board. Please pray that the motives behind any decision would not feed selfish ambition, but will be for the good of the whole nation.

Rob Clarke

Mr. Clarke is a newly elected member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of St. John’s South–Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.  He is a graduate from the journalism program at the Stephenville campus of the College of the North Atlantic. Prior to entering politics, he worked as the editor-in-chief of The Independent newspaper, hosted open line radio shows at VOCM, and has worked for The Newfoundland Herald, NTV and Time Magazine.

He currently serves as member of the Human Resources, Skills and Social development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities. Please pray that he be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Rob Clarke

Mr. Clarke is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River, Saskatchewan since 2008. He is a member of the Muskeg Lake First Nation and grew up in the community of Quesnel, British Columbia.

Prior to his political career, he served for 18 years with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and has extensive policing experience, pertaining to First Nations communities. He and his wife Leanne have two children, Kobey and Kabree.

He currently serves as a member on the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development committee & the Library committee. He also serves on a number of other governmental committees. Please pray that he receive wise and Godly counsel to help him in reaching his full potential.

Olivia Chow

Ms. Chow is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Trinity-Spadina, Toronto, Ontario, since 2006.  Ms. Chow previously served as a City Counsellor, for the city of Toronto. She studied fine arts at the Ontario College of Art and Philosophy and Religion at the University of Toronto, holds an Honours BA in fine arts from the University of Guelph. In addition, she taught at George Brown College’s Assaulted Women and Children Counselling and Advocacy Program for five years.  She has two step-children, Sarah & Michael and grandchildren.

Ms. Chow is the  Vice-Chair of the committee on Transport and Infrastructure Critic, she also serves as a associate on other governmental committees, such as Finance and Citizenship and Immigration.

Please pray that she pursue meaningful time with family, which brings stability at home and at work.
