Ed Holder

Mr. Holder is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of London – West, Ontario, since 2008. His background includes a successful career in business as well as extensive community involvement. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Philosophy. He and his wife have one daughter and two grandchildren. Prior to entering politics he operated  a very successful Insurance business.

He currently serves as a member of the International Trade committee, as well as the Industry, Science & Technology committee.In addition, he also serves as a member on a number of other governmental committees. Please pray that there would be a culture of co-operation and honour within all parties.

Randy Hoback

Mr. Hoback is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan since 2008, where  he was born.  He holds a business administration certificate through the University of Saskatchewan and Chartered Director’s designation (C. Dir.), which he completed  through McMaster University’s Chartered Directors College. Prior to his political career, he was employed in farm machinery manufacturer, which led him to an extensive career in the international marketing development. He and his wife Jerri, have two children.

He currently serves as a member of the Agriculture and Agri-Food committee as well as the Finance committee.  In addition he is an associate member on a number of other governmental committees.  Please pray that he be encouraged to life a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Megan Leslie

Megan Leslie, is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of  Halifax, Nova, Scotia, since 2008. She is originally from the northern Ontario mining community of Kirkland Lake and moved to Halifax to complete her law degree at Dalhousie University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from York University in Social and Political Thought and History and a Certificate in Refugee and Migration Studies. She spent a year at Tampere University in Finland and is the second Canadian MP of Finnish descent. Prior to her political career, she was employed as a anti-poverty activist and community legal work.

She currently serves as Vice-Chair and member of the Environmental and Sustainable Development Committee. In addition, she also serves as a member on a number of other Governmental committees, such as the committee for Finance and National Defense . Please pray that the motives behind any decision would not feed selfish ambition, but will be for the good of the whole nation.

Jim Hillyer

Mr. Hillyer, is a newly elected member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Lethbridge, Alberta, where he was born. Prior to entering politics, he was employed as an advisor, business consultant, educator. He holds a B.A Philosophy and an M.A. Political Economy. He and his wife Livi, have  four children: London, Taylor, Nation and Asia.

He currently serves as a member of the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, as well the Canadian Heritage committee. Please pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Kellie Leitch

Ms. Leitch is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Simcoe-Grey, Ontario. Prior to entering politics she was employed as a, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon, physician and associate professor. She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, has been recently recognized with the Order of Ontario for her advocacy work on behalf of Canadian children. In 2005, she was selected as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” for her work in both medicine and business.

She is the newly appointed  Minister of Labour, as well as the Minister for the Status of Women. Prior to her appointment as Minister, she previously served as the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development and to the Minister of Labour. Please pray that she be encouraged in her new role and she woild be known for her humility, which invited God’s great grace and protects from pride.

Russ Hiebert

Mr. Hiebert, is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of South Surrey–White Rock–Cloverdale, British Columbia, since 2004. He and his wife Andrea have four young children; daughters Kate and Marie and twin boys Kyle and Ryan. They also sponsor two children through International China Concern. Prior to his political career, he was employed in the profession of a lawyer.

He currently serves as a member of International Trade committee, as well as being an associate member on a number of other governmental committees. He is also a member of the following Parliamentary Associations: Canada-Africa (Vice-Chairman), Canada-China, Canada-United States and the Canadian Section of Parl-Americas. Please pray that he be encouraged to pursue meaningful time with his family, which promotes stability at home and at work.

Bryan Hayes

Mr. Hayes, is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of  Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. He and his wife Aida, are long time residents of Sault Ste. Marie, they have two sons, who reside in Ottawa. He is an honours graduate from the Marketing program at Cambrian college, as well, he holds a BA in Accounting from Laurentian University and attained his CGA designation from the Certified General Accountant’s Association. Prior to entering politics he was a successful small business owner, Finance Manager for 10 years for Ontario March of Dimes and a senior Financial Analyst at Ontario Lottery and Gaming for 12 years.

He currently serves as a member of the committee for Veterans and also for Public Accounts. In addition is also sits as an associate member on a number of other governmental committees.
