David McGuinty

David McGuinty is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of  Ottawa South since 2004. He was born in Ottawa, Ontario and prior to his political career, was employed as a businessman, immigration officer, lawyer, and professor.

He currently serves as Liberal critic for Transport, Infrastructure and Communities.

Please pray that Mr. McGuinty would be known for his humility which invites God`s great grace and protects from pride.

Phil McColeman

Mr. McColeman is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Brant, Ontario, where he as served since 2008. Mr. McColeman, was born in Brantford, Ontario, attended Brantford Collegiate Institute and later received his undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He then continued his education at Kent State University in Ohio on a hockey scholarship. He and his wife, Nancy have four children as well as grandchildren.
Prior to entering politics he worked as a construction executive, project manager (construction), property manager, real estate developer.

He currently serves as a member of three standing committees:   Industry, Science and Technology;   Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities; and the Legislative Committee on Bill C-11. He has also been re-elected as Vice Chair of the Post-Secondary Education Caucus, and was recently elected as Vice-Chair of the Canada-US Inter-Parliamentary Association.

Please pray that his decision-making would be for the good of the whole nation and that he pursue time with his family, which brings stability at home and at work.

Lawrence MacAulay

Mr. MacAulay  is a long-term member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of Cardigan, Prince Edward Island. He was born on in St. Peters Bay, P.E.I., he and his wife Frances  have three daughters. Before entering politics Lawrence was a successful seed potato and dairy farmer. .

He currently serves as Vice-Chair & Member of the Fisheries and Oceans committee, in addition, he also serves as a member of the Liaison committee. Please pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Larry Campbell

Senator Campbell is a representative of the Liberal party, serving the designation of  British Columbia.  He was raised in Brantford, Ontario, he holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from City University
in Vancouver. He began his work career, first as a steelworker in Hamilton, then he began his career with the RCMP drug squad. With more than twelve years experience with the RCMP, Campbell transitioned into death investigation, establishing Vancouver’s first District Coroner’s Office, becoming the Chief Coroner for British Columbia in 1996.

Senator Campbell was appointed to the Senate of Canada by Prime Minister Paul Martin.  As a Senator, he has continued his work on drug policy, mental health, and aboriginal issues. He currently is a member of the Senate Standing Committees on Aboriginal Peoples and Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration.

Please pray that there would be a culture of co-operation and honour within all parties.

Bernard Valcourt

Mr. Valcourt is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of Madawaska–Restigouche, New Brunswick. He was born in  St-Quentin, New Brunswick, prior to entering politics he was employed as a Barrister and solicitor in the city of Edmonton.

He is the associate Minister of National Defence and the Minister of State (Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency) (La Francophonie). Pleaser pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good  health and endurance.

Rathika Sitsabaiesan

Ms. Sitsabaiesan, is a newly elected member to the NDP party, serving the constituency of  Scarborough—Rouge River, Ontario. She was born in Sri Lanka and came to Canada with her family at the age of five. Before her successful election as MP, she worked at the University of Toronto Students’ Union.

She attended the University of Toronto for two years of her undergraduate studies, then transferred to Carleton University, where she completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree. She then proceeded to obtain a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, where she worked with the Service Employees’ International Union as a researcher.

She is a member of the Canadian Heritage Committee, as well as a member of the Citizenship & Immigration Committee. She is also an associate member of various other governmental committees. Please pray that she receive Godly counselors to help her reach her full potential as a leader.
