Mark Eyking

Mr. Eyking is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of  Sydney-Victoria, Nova Scotia, since 2000. He is a Dutch immigrant & received a diploma in business from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. In addition, he studied at the University of Davis, focusing on sustainable agriculture.

Prior to entering politics, Mark and his wife Pam operated a successful vegetable farm for twenty years. They were recipients of the Cape Breton Business Excellence Award and Outstanding Young Farmers of Nova Scotia Award. He currently serves as an associate member of the Agriculture and  Agri-Food committee, he is also an associate member of the Foreign Affairs and International Development committee.

Please pray that as he continues to serve in his riding over the summer, that he would have quality time with his family and time to refresh, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Wayne Easter

Mr. Easter is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of  Malpeque, Prince Edward Island, since 1997. He was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island and holds a diploma from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. He also received a Honourary Doctorate of Law degree from UPEI for his work and contribution to agriculture and social activism on the national and international level. He was awarded the Governor General’s Canada 125 Medal in 1992 for community service. He and his wife Helen, have two grown children.

He serves as the Vice-Chair for the International Trade Committee, in addition he also serves as a  associate member on the liason committee, as well as the Public Safety and National Security board. Please pray that he would be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Rick Dykstra

Mr. Dykstra, is a member of the Conservative party, serving the constituency of St. Catherine’s, Ontario, since 2006. He grew up and was educated in St. Catharine’s and holds a Bachelor of Political Science degree from Brock University. He also holds a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from York University. He  served for twelve years as president of Dykstra Landscaping, a family owned and operated business

He and his wife Kathy are lifelong residents of St. Catharine’s and are the proud parents of three children, Zachary, Jessica and Lauren. He is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration. In addition, he also serves as a member of the Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development committee, Veterans affairs, Status for Women, to name a view.

Please pray that he pursue meaningful time with his family, which brings a stability at home and at work.

Pierre-Luc Dusseault

Mr. Dusseault is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Pierre-Luc is a student of applied politics at Université de Sherbrooke. He received a college diploma in social studies specializing in international relations from the Cégep de Sherbrooke.

He serves as Chair of the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics. In addition, he also serves as a member of the liason committee and liason committee. He also serves as an associate member on the Finance committee.

Please pray for wise and Godly counselors to help him in reaching his full potential.

Linda Duncan

Linda Duncan is a member of the NDP party, serving the constituency of  Edmonton-Strathcona, since 2008. She was born in Edmonton, Alberta and prior to entering politics, worked as an environmental consultant, lawyer, and  professor of law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, from the University of Alberta and a LLM from the Dalhousie Law School.

She currently sits as a member of the Governments Operations and Estimates board. She also serves as an associate member on the Environment and Sustainable Development committee, as well as the Finance committee. Please pray that she be encouraged to live a lifestyle that promotes good health and endurance.

Kirsty Duncan

Kirsty Duncan is a member of the Liberal party, serving the constituency of  Etobicoke North since 2008. Her educational studies include Kipling Collegiate Institute as a Ontario Scholar, she the studied Geography and Anthropology at the University of Toronto, following which she entered graduate school at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and completed a Ph.D. in geography.

She was born in Etobicoke and prior to her political career was an athlete, author, geographer, lecturer and professor. She is Vice Chair of the  Environment and Sustainable Development committee. She also serves as a member on other governmental committees, such as teh Fianance committee and the Health committee.

Please pray that she would be known for her integrity and courage to stand up for what is right.
