Thank you for checking out our new effort to mobilize prayer for Canada’s Parliament. Our intention is make it easy for you, and hundreds of others who believe in prayer, to pray daily for our parliamentarians.
Each day we will feature a different politician. We are posting them in an alphabetic arrangement because that seemed to be the best way to randomize their selection. You will see both Senators and M.P.s listed here because together they make up our system of Parliament here in Canada.
An added bonus will be the surprise appearance of one of our nine Supreme Court Justices at different points throughout our circulation. We are aware that they are not technically “parliamentarians” but they do represent a very significant third element of our governmental system and because of that we regularly pray for them at the National House of Prayer.
By the way this is an initiative of NHOP, a ministry in Ottawa dedicated to raising up the level of prayer for our national government in Canada. Please feel free to contact us at anytime with your feedback and ideas.
